(Restocked) 2024 Spring Harvest Narcissus (2024 SX)

A well-crafted Zhang Ping Shui Xian (Narcissus), this 2024 spring harvested tea from Fujian, Zhang Ping, has light floral and sweet notes, with a refreshing burst of orchid and osmanthus flavours, that lingers in your mouth after each sip. It is highly aromatic, and has a delicate, smooth and buttery mouth-feel. 

Reflecting a clear, bright honey-yellow infusion, this tea endures many steeps, with each brew softening in taste to reveal new layers and nuances.

A unique type of Oolong, this particular Shui Xian thrives in a climate averaging 16 degrees Celsius, enriched with good minerals that adds to its superior growing conditions. It is also known for its tightly pressed square-shaped tea leaves, bright yellow and green soup colour, high and lasting aroma, and mellow taste.

Storage: To maintain freshness, store in a refrigerator and consume within a year.

Brewing Advice: Use 9g of tea in 150ml of water at 100°C, steeping for 10-25 seconds in a Gaiwan style, lasting up to 8 to 10 infusions.

Each gongfu style serving is based on 9g of tea. If enjoying the tea on your own, you can easily split the tea cake into 2g to 3g portions, and steep for a slightly longer period each time, allowing you to savour the experience over multiple sessions.
