This smooth and easy-to-drink Aged Lao Bai Cha Shou Mei has been carefully aging since 2015 and will continue to develop and mature with time. Its golden-yellow infusion carries rich notes of dates, complemented by a gentle vanilla finish.
It is a good everyday drink. We highly recommend adding a few slices of Chen Pi (Tangerine Peel) for an extra layer of flavour — simply brew them together to enhance the tea’s natural warmth and depth. Chen Pi can also neutralise the cooling nature of the Lao Bai Cha.
Storage: Store in a cool, dark place. This Lao Bai Cha can continue to age gracefully if kept well.
Brewing Advice: Use 5g of tea in 150ml of water at 90°C to 95°C, steeping for 15-30 seconds in a Gaiwan style, lasting up to 8 to 10 infusions.
Each gongfu style serving is based on 5g of tea. If enjoying the tea on your own, you can easily split the tea into 2g to 3g, and steep for a slightly longer period each time, allowing you to savour the experience over multiple sessions.
